Steps in an Emotion Code® session

An Emotion Code® session typically follows a structured flow that involves the following steps:

  1. Discussion and Intake: At the beginning of the session, the practitioner will have a discussion with you to understand your concerns, goals, and any specific issues you would like to address. This helps the practitioner gain a deeper understanding of your emotional and physical wellbeing.
  2. Muscle Testing: The practitioner will use muscle testing, also known as applied kinesiology, to communicate with your body’s energy system. This involves applying gentle pressure to specific muscles while asking questions or making statements related to trapped emotions. The response of the muscle (strong or weak) helps identify the presence of trapped emotions.
  3. Trapped Emotion Identification: Through muscle testing, the practitioner will identify specific trapped emotions that are relevant to your concerns or imbalances. They may ask questions related to various emotions or use the Emotion Code® Chart of Emotions as a reference tool to assist in the identification process.
  4. Release of Trapped Emotions: Once trapped emotions are identified, the practitioner will work to release them. This is typically done using a magnet, which can be a handheld magnet or even the practitioner’s fingertips. The magnet is passed along specific energy pathways or meridians on your body to disperse the trapped energy and facilitate its release.
  5. Feedback and Integration: After releasing each trapped emotion, the practitioner may ask for feedback to gauge any shifts or sensations you may be experiencing. They will also provide guidance on self-care practices, such as drinking water or engaging in relaxation techniques, to support the integration of the session’s work.
  6. Follow-Up and Additional Sessions: Depending on your needs and the complexity of your situation, the practitioner may recommend follow-up sessions to address further trapped emotions or work on other aspects of your emotional and physical wellbeing. They may also test for the “processing period” to determine the waiting period before scheduling your next session.

It’s important to note that the exact flow and techniques used during an Emotion Code® session may vary among practitioners. Each session is tailored to the individual’s unique needs and preferences. Remote sessions are also common, allowing you to receive Emotion Code® sessions from the comfort of your own location. The length and number of sessions can vary based on individual circumstances and goals.
